12 Ways to Repurpose old Furniture.

Don't forget that this isn't a complete list of everything we've had in the shop this week! To see every item we've received, check out our New Arrivals page on the Phantastic Phinds website! The captions below each image link directly to that items page on our website. If you have any question or would like to purchase an item please give us a call at 215-233-3325.

1.) Turn an old bed frame into a bench by using the head board as the back and cutting the foot board in half for the arms.

2.) Use just the head board and turn it into a wall mounted coat rack. This works best with twin sized head boards.

This one is more outdoor oriented but the concept is the same.

This one doesn't even need to be mounted to the wall.

3.) Combine several different chairs to make an eclectic bench.

Even matching chairs work great for this.

My personal favorite

4.) Use that old tube television media cabinet to make an amazing home bar cabinet.

5.) Upright pianos are almost impossible to move so why not turn it to something else.

Like a aquarium stand.

Or a liquor cabinet.

And phantastic desks.

6.) Media centers for modern flat screen TV's are usually poorly made and boring so why not make one from an old dresser or buffet.

7.) Break out the saw and cut some furniture up for some really fun and unique furniture.

You can make two nightstands or side tables out of an old double pedestal desk.

Or take a side table and make a great wall mounted tiered shelf.

This is several different pieces turned in a phantastic wall mounted etegere.

Cut the back off the chair and mount it upside down and use as a towel rack.

8.) Have a big dog and some extra chairs? Cut some holes in the chairs for a cute water and food station for your pup.

9.) An old slant front secretary can make a great food station for the pups or kitties and even has space for a cat bed.

10.) Use old rulers and yardsticks to recover the front of an old dresser.

11.) Rulers not your thing? Then use old wall paper.

12.) Repaint a tool cabinet for a unique dresser or kids toy cabinet.
