1.) Let's start complicated: Make your old tool box into an amazing industrial chic lamp.

Repaint your tool box and drill some holes.

Using retro or vintage light bulbs really goes a long way.

2.) An old shop tool cabinet or chest can be repurposed into a bathroom vanity or kitchen counter.

Loving the diamond plate as the top of this man cave bathroom vanity.

This idea can work in the kitchen as well.

3.) Old tool boxes can easily be turned in to a great portable     charcoal grill.

It's pretty easy. Just add a thermometer and the right sized grate.

You can skip the thermometer but don't forget the feet!

4.) Of course you can also make a planter out of your tool box or caddy.

You know how much we love planters! I think I've even used this picture before on a different blog entry.

Use an old drill as a replacement handle.(Kitty not included)

Succulents seem to be popular for this application.

5.) Wall mount your old tool caddy for a fun and interesting storage solution.

6.) Turn your tool caddy into a caddy of a different color.

7.) Don't have any tools? Then use your tool boxes to store anything you can imagine.

A great way to store your jewelry and accessories.

They make a phantastic retail display too.

I have an old tool box filled with craft supplies.

Great way to keep your spices organized.

Tool caddies can make a great Americana centerpiece for your summer holidays.

A wonderful gadget organizer and charging station.
