Today I wanted to try some new colors and have some fun with a boring picture frame. I created 2 custom colors using Emperor's Silk, Graphite, and Napoleonic Blue.

My supplies: Graphite, Emperor's Silk, Napoleonic Blue(Old White not shown), measuring spoons, mixing bowl.

The frame I started with.

This color was created by mixing one part Emperor's Silk with one part Graphite.

I then made a royal purple by mixing one part Emperor's Silk with three parts of Napoleonic Blue.

For the final coat I mixed a little bit of water in with Old White to create a thin white washed look.
