Hand-Knotted Kashan Style Rug

Kashan style Persian rugs are among the most expensive wool pile rugs made in Iran. Blue and burgundy are the most common colors used. One of the most popular designs is Shah Abbas pattern with or without geometric designs and medallions. Kashan rugs are woven on cotton foundation with either wool or silk piles.

At the moment, we have two beautiful Baluch style rugs! Common designs include the tree of life, that prayer rug, and the Bokhara Pattern. Baluch style rugs have geometric patterns and are usually darker, more somber colors. They are made with Persian knots and are very durable.

Sarouk style rugs are among the best quality rugs from the Arak weaving district of Iran and have a distinct design of detached floral sprays with or without medallions. They have a cotton foundation with blue wefts and are closely woven with Persian knots.
