In Love with Rusty Metal Storage!

We at Phantastic Phinds love rusty metal things, especially if those things are crates or boxes! Lately we've gotten in a few cool beat up metal tool boxes that would be great for so many things. We thought we'd share with you a couple of our favorite pinterest inspiration pics for these rusted treasures.

Gray Tool Box , Milwaukee Sawzall Box , Long Craftsman Box

Above are some of the items we've had in the shop recently.  Check out below for some cool DIY inspiration for your rusty metal boxes!

This toolbox was hung on the wall with hooks to catch all your stray tools! What a great idea for a garage (or even an industrial inspired kitchen!).

This box was filled with jars and serves as a catch all for small objects. This idea would be great for a crafter or painter who needed some supplies storage!

I love how they painted the inside of this tool box before putting some pumpkins in as a harvest display! We still have Thanksgiving coming up- this would be a great look with those left over gourds and pumpkins from Halloween!

Like I said, even without using them decoratively, rusty metal boxes are great storage for craft supplies!

This toolbox holds a collection of vintage photos (and you know I love vintage photos!). What a great way to display your family pictures.

And finally, think about using vintage metal tool boxes as charming rustic planters! You could use flowers, but I personally have a weakness for succulents. Hen and chicks are my favorite!

Well, that's all I've got for you today. Check out our website for more Phantastic Phinds. Until next time!
