Around The Shop: Falling In Love With Fall

Fall is in full swing in Philadelphia. As days get colder and winter approaches, we find ourselves looking more at the spaces we'll be cozying into this winter. Sometimes changes in the weather gives us inspiration for redecorating our living spaces or even the approaching holiday season can spark a need to change our surroundings. Here are some of the scenes at the shop that are inspiring us this season.

These vintage brown and white jugs are perfect for starting a new collection...

This vintage sewing desk and chair would be great for a laptop table (or get the machine inside fixed and learn a new hobby over the winter!).

Speaking of collections, mini glass bottles can add a pop of color without being too over powering.

She would be a beautiful centerpiece for a fall or holiday table.

Sometimes we even get celebrities in the shop. See? Barbie and Ken came for a visit.

This lovely tray picks up all the perfect colors of fall, and the older books remind me of cozy evenings under a warm blanket with some cocoa.

Beautiful rustic benches in a gorgeous shade would add character and charm to any room.

What a great little table that would be just charming for meals, game nights or as a hobby table.

Cedar chests are great for the end of the bed or as a coffee table and they help store extra blankets and sweaters.

A solid ice box that would make an interesting project for restoration or re-do the inside and use it for storage.

Speaking of storage, several of the girls in the shop have been eyeing up this little metal trunk. It's just too adorable!

Vintage crates make great shelving and rustic farm tables like this one are great for big family dinners and parties. Vintage Coca-Cola bottles would be great little bud vases, too!

A low rustic table with drop leaves can be a desk or a hobby table, and this side table includes it's own magazine rack. Don't like the color? You'd be amazed what a coat of Chalk Paint™ would do.

This gorgeous vintage server with a pull out shelf would be great in a dining room or get creative and use it as a dresser in a bedroom.

Rustic wooden chairs are good for extra seating around a table or as unique nightstands beside a bed. We love globes here and they add such a worldly touch to a room (I do love a bad pun).

Amber glasses are great for juice and water and they make such a beautiful, earthy statement on a table. Milk glass and hand thrown pottery mix together well as you stick to the same color palette.

This solid office chair is so comfy it would be good for watching TV or working on a computer. A little distressed about the days growing shorter? Light up your life with this vintage photography light in a vintage metal container.

This quaint little vanity is compact and perfect for small spaces, but it's super charming and if you don't like the color you can always paint it a bright new color.

We hope you find inspiration from our scenes around the shop just like we do. Every day is a wonderful and exciting challenge at Phantastic Phinds and we enjoy sharing our adventures with you.
