Pick Of The Week: Liz's Art Addiction

My pick of the week is to focus on all of the fabulous art finds in our store. I am an Art enthusiast and an avid supporter and collector of the arts. I'll admit I'm an art snob too and I'm horrified by the way some art has found it's way to our store in very neglectful state. Thank goodness it's arrived at Phantasticphinds  to find new and caring homes!  Our store has been host too some big players in the art world.  Modigliani, Monet, Twachtman, Matisse, Red Grooms, Van Gogh, Vermeer-any sound familiar?   Of course, all of these are a 4 color art print reproduction of the originals but done so well you might be fooled into thinking they are the original.
Take a closer look and you will find some original oils and watercolors like the pear painting which is now at it’s lowest price  $42.50.  This is a steal for an original.

We also have two amazing watercolors from Hungary which looks like figures in native/traditional costumes that are $82.50 a piece.  Come in and take a look at the fine detail in these beauties.
A recent acquisition is a Red Grooms Subway Riders New York "Pop Art" Print which is highly collectible now.  I’m going to take a wild guess that this will soar in value as Charles Rogers Grooms is still alive and producing art work.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Grooms  Here is a link to learn more about the artist. Of course, I feel you should buy something because you love it!  This piece is now $285.00.
We also receive etchings, engravings and we even had this rare

I have also used Phantasticphinds to frame some of the work I have purchased.  Take a look around the store next time you are in, You might wonder why we took some art that was not so Phantastic but if you look closer you will notice a gold leaf or interesting frame worthy of reuse.
